get ready for ski season and put your unique stamp on your winter wardrobe by knitting your very own hat! in this two-part class, you’ll learn the basics of knitting in the round, shaping a hat, and finishing it off with a handmade pompom.

class 1:

cast on and get started

knit the brim

begin working the body of the hat

class 2:

finish knitting the body

learn how to taper the top

make your own pompom

by the end of this workshop, you’ll have the skills (and the hat!) to keep cozy all season long.

materials list:

Circular Needles US Size 11 or 13 with 12”-16” cable 

1 ball (or cake) of Bulky or Super Bulky yarn (if skein or hank, wind into a ball or cake before class)
